Located on the outskirts of the city, the housing project at Subuddhipur is set to be the largest undertaking by any government agency in Bhubaneswar. With over 700 dwelling units, this ambitious project has been dubbed Ekamra Residency. It comes with a hefty price tag of Rs 199.64 crore (approximately $27.4 million). The 14-storied structure of Ekamra Residency boasts state-of-the-art technology and modern amenities. Affordable and Well-Planned Housing Options
Staying true to its commitment to providing housing options for all income levels, the BDA is constructing a mix of 416 two-bedroom units and 288 three-bedroom units in Ekamra Residency. These units are designed to cater to the needs of the middle and high-income groups. Additionally, the BDA has planned the adjacent area for the construction of 300 affordable housing units. This will ensure that those in the lower-income bracket have access to affordable and quality living spaces.

To enrich knowledge and deepen the understanding of the environment, the BDA has established an interpretation center within Ananda Bana.
