Mahindra & Mahindra Expands EV Charging Network Nationwide in Joint Venture with Adani Total Gas

In a significant move towards promoting electric vehicle (EV) adoption in India, Mahindra & Mahindra has announced a strategic partnership with Adani Total Gas. The collaboration between the leading automobile manufacturer and the subsidiary of Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL) aims to establish a robust EV charging network across the country.

Comprehensive EV Charging Network

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed by Mahindra & Mahindra and ATEL, outlining their joint efforts to develop a comprehensive EV charging infrastructure. The partnership seeks to create an ecosystem that provides seamless access to charging stations for EV users, encompassing aspects such as discovery, availability, navigation, and transactions.

Enhanced Customer Experience

Under this partnership, customers of Mahindra & Mahindra’s electric vehicle XUV400 model will benefit from access to over 1,100 chargers spread across the country. Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at Mahindra & Mahindra, expressed the importance of this alliance in expanding the EV charging infrastructure and enhancing the overall customer experience.
