Finance Minister Reddy Promotes Infrastructure Development

The Finance Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, recently graced the inauguration of various significant projects in the state. These initiatives mark a significant step forward in bolstering the infrastructural development of Andhra Pradesh.

Road Infrastructure Enhancements Promote Connectivity

One of the major projects inaugurated by Minister Reddy was the road from Kanumakindi Kottala to Ramakrishnapuram in Banaganapalle mandal. This road, spanning a considerable distance, is set to provide convenient accessibility and improve the overall transportation network in the region. Additionally, Minister Reddy also inaugurated a road from KK Kottala village to Bilasargam Caves, further showcasing the government’s commitment to expanding the road infrastructure. The cumulative cost of these projects amounted to Rs. 90.35 million. Moreover, a 23-km long double road connecting Bethamcharla town to Ramallakota via Kolumulapalle, Muddavaram, and M. Pendekallu villages was also inaugurated. This endeavor, costing Rs. 410.94 million, promises to enhance connectivity in the area, bridging the gap between various towns and villages.

Laying the Foundations for Development

Bethamcherla witnessed the initiation of crucial developmental works, indicating the government’s commitment to the well-being of its citizens. These development projects amount to an impressive Rs. 620 million, highlighting the significance placed on uplifting the infrastructure and welfare of the region. As part of the ceremony, bhumi pooja rituals for the restoration of Maddileti Swamy and Muchatla Mallikarjuna Swamy temples were performed, with an allocated fund of Rs. 80 million. In a heartwarming gesture, Finance Minister Reddy reaffirmed government support for a mentally challenged girl named Anitha. Under this support scheme, a house site will be provided for her mother, Sridevi, and family pension extended to alleviate their financial burdens, exhibiting the state’s dedication to social welfare.

Fostering Tourism and Historical Preservation

Minister Reddy also emphasized the importance of promoting tourism by allocating investments towards vital touristic facilities. Bhumi pujas were conducted for the development of tourism amenities at the Sri Maddileti Swamy temple, infusing Rs. 60 million into the local tourism infrastructure. Efforts to uplift the Muchatla Mallikarjunaswamy temple were not overlooked either, with separate allocations of Rs. 10.90 million aimed towards the development of the gopuram, flooring, mandapam, devata kalyana mandapam, and ratham renovation. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries such as Nandyala MP Pocha Brahmananda Reddy, ZP chairman Y. Papireddy, Maddileti Swamy temple trust board chairman Ramachandradu, Bethamcherla MP Nagabhushanam Reddy, Bethamcherla municipal chairman Chalam Reddy, state warehousing corporation director Babul Reddy, Valmiki corporation director Muralikrishna, Dhone RDO Maheshwar Reddy, Bethamcherla MRO Jeevan Chandrasekhar, and several others who actively contributed to the successful inauguration event.
