DDA Launches Online Booking for 10,000 Ready Flats in New Delhi

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has opened online booking for approximately 10,000 ready-to-move flats in various categories across the city. These flats will be sold on a first come, first served basis and are available under the Diwali Special Housing Scheme 2023 Phase III. The scheme offers a range of affordable housing options for the economically weaker section (EWS) and low-income group (LIG) categories in Narela, as well as middle-income group (MIG) flats in Sector A1-A4.

Diwali Special Housing Scheme for Affordable Housing

The Diwali Special Housing Scheme 2023 was initially launched on November 24, offering newly constructed flats for sale through an e-auction. Now, DDA is continuing the sale of 7,931 flats under the same scheme to provide affordable housing to the general public. These flats are being offered at reasonable prices and complement the ongoing Phase I and II of the Diwali scheme. So far, more than 3,000 flats have been sold under these phases.

Discounted Rates for Middle-Income Group Flats

Additionally, the registration has started for 445 MIG flats at Sector A1-A4 in Narela under the old scheme FCFS Phase IV. These flats are being offered at a discounted rate of 15% for the general public and 25% for government employees, including those from central and state governments, autonomous bodies, local bodies, and public sector undertakings. The cost of a flat will range from Rs 75-77 lakh with a 25% discount, and Rs 85-87 lakh with a 15% discount.

Variety of Flats Offered at Old Rates

To cater to the public demand for flats in other areas, DDA is offering a variety of flats at old rates quoted in FCFS IV 2023. This includes high-income group (HIG) and MIG flats at Jasola, Rohini, Loknayak Puram, and Siraspur. Notably, there are eight HIG flats in Jasola costing Rs 2-2.1 crore, 810 LIG flats in Rohini, and 107 LIG flats in Siraspur. These flats are affordably priced, allowing buyers to find suitable homes in different areas of Delhi. Overall, the opening of online bookings for 10,000 ready flats by Delhi Development Authority offers individuals a great opportunity to purchase a home in one of the fastest-growing cities in India. With a range of flats available under the Diwali Special Housing Scheme, the scheme provides affordable housing options for various income groups and promotes residential development in Delhi.
