That is Square Yards in a nutshell. I was approached by Square Yards in 2018 for a senior position as a product manager. Coming from an MNC, I was apprehensive at first on joining an Indian company, let alone try my luck in a real estate start-up.

Today, while writing this Square Yards Employee Reviews, I am thanking my stars that I have crossed paths with a proptech brand like Square Yards at the right moment. When I joined Square Yards, I was bowled over by the system at place here. There is a barrier-free connection between the employees and top management. Here open-door policy prevails where every employee, no matter the designation can enter the CTO or CIO or COO’s cabin and voice his opinions, problems and share their ideas. I found a transparent environment here where leaders communicate their vision and mission without any insecurities.

The company supports an open mindset and backs you to realize your full potential. There is a continuous hunger for learning among employees, which is induced by a culture of optimism. As a product manager, I was delighted to see that my ideas are heard by the business leaders and complete freedom is provided to realize those ideas, provided they are in sync with the work process of the organization.

There is no bossing around here, let alone any sort of micro-management. Employees have a good camaraderie. They work together, encourage and help each other and even support their fellow mates. Office politics is a strict no-no here and leaders constantly try to shape employees as role models in their respective roles. They motivate you to work freely and improve yourself. This is a big plus for me, which is why I am able to get a good growth in these three years. Hence, just working at Square Yards is a perk for me.

One of the most interesting facets of working at Square Yards is its salary structure and reward policy. Here monthly performance incentives are doled out not just for sales employees, but also in other departments. There is no favoritism in this regard and leaders encourage us so that new faces can win incentives every month. Salaries are good and paid on time.

Reason why I feel secure in this organization

Here employees are groomed and nurtured properly so that they can adopt future roles. My growth here has been electric and I am now holding the position of Assistant Vice President. There is no hire & fire policy and hence employees feel secure working in Square Yards. One of the highlights which deserve mention is that Square Yards didn’t lay off a single employee during Covid. We had to take a salary cut of 10% for only one month, during the lockdown. For the next month, all salaries were rolled back. I am extremely indebted to Square Yards Employee Reviews for standing beside its employees during this tough phase. In all, my journey at Square Yards till date has beaten all my expectations by a mile. I am looking forward to serving this organization for more years to come.
