In a major development for the city, the Dubai Creek Harbour Marina will soon be completed by the end of this year or early in 2019 as per reports. This is located in the centre of Creek Island in Dubai and will be a major leisure cum residential district that is also expected to give a major boost to real estate markets here and in surrounding zones. This waterfront project will have extensive parklands, cafes, leisure and entertainment destinations, restaurants and premium residential offerings.
There is a boulevard that goes around Creek Island in Dubai. Several major landmarks have already come up in the form of key residential ventures in the Dubai Creek Harbour and more are set to follow as this entire stretch becomes a coveted place to live for locals and expats alike. The Dubai Creek Marina could officially open in December 2018 with measures being implemented to ensure that the first batch of residents can be ushered in by early next year. The Creek Marina is located next to the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Dubai Creek Tower and Dubai Square are also located nearby. The Dubai Creek Marina has been labelled as the new Middle Eastern Riviera and offers a unique oyster design which commemorates the pearling legacy of the city itself. The Marina will have more than 81 double and single berths in tandem with a yacht club and dining and shopping provisions. There will be other services on offer like upgraded power outlets, fuelling services and pedestal units.
The Dubai Creek Marina will also come with premium dining, retail and leisure facilities and the promenade will have premium restaurants, cafes, street-food vendors and fashion outlets. There will be more than 1, 500 parking spaces available along with a viewing deck. The Vida Harbour Point, a luxurious 286 room lifestyle hotel will also be opening its doors in 2019.
