The Sydney housing market continues to expand but at a slow pace. The last year has seen rising prices at a rapid pace of 12.4%, primarily due to increasing demand, especially from foreign investors along with stagnant supply and attractive mortgage rates almost resulting in kind of a ‘demand pull housing bubble’.Price rise halted in the short run due to government regulations and stricter lending requirements.
