Online Process for Changing PAN Card Postal Address

To change your PAN card postal address, follow the below-mentioned steps:

First and foremost, fill the form and submit the same by visiting the official NSDL website.
If there are any errors in your application form, then firstly fix these erroneous details and resubmit your form.
You can edit and update the information if you wish to do so. If not, then choose the ‘confirm’ option to move further with the process.
You can fill out the application form with your new address if you want to change certain PAN information, such as residence address, without making any additional changes to the PAN data.

Following that, your communication address will be appropriately updated in the Income Tax Department’s database, which is needed for sending timely notices.

You must submit your Aadhaar number if your Aadhaar is your proof of address.

Fee Levied for Making Changes in Postal Address

You must pay a fee of INR 110 to have your application form processed if you are a resident of India. This charge consists of INR 93.00 plus 18% GST. This payment can be made by credit card, debit card, demand draft, or net banking.
If your postal address is outside of India, you will be charged a fee of INR 1,020, which includes an amount of INR 93 as an application fee and INR 771 as shipment fees. PAN cards are currently disbursed to 105 countries. You can pay these applicable charges via credit card or a debit card. Additionally, you can pay the associated charges through the demand draft. You must write the demand draft in the name of ‘NSDL PAN’.

The applicant must pay an additional cost of INR 4.00 in addition to GST for the payment gateway facility when using Net Banking services.
After you have completed the payment, you will be given an acknowledgement number, which you should print off for future references.

Acknowledgement Slip of Application and Payment Status

You will receive an acknowledgement slip after submitting the form and making the payment. The applicant’s name, category, 15-digit acknowledgement number, PAN number, father’s name, date of birth, and house address are all listed on the acknowledgement slip. This acknowledgement slip should be sent to the NSDL office that is situated in Pune. You can send the demand draft to the same address. Within 15 days of the online application submission date, send the acknowledgement slip to the NSDL office.
