You can also apply for a new trade license on the official portal of e-NagarPalika if you don’t have one. Here are the steps to apply for a new trade license online in Indore:

  • Visit the official site of e-NagarPalika 
  • On the top menu list, click on the Citizen Services option.
  • Hover your cursor on the Trade/Commercial (Non-Food) option and click on Trade Commercial License Form. 
  • You will be redirected to the new trade license registration page. 
  • Select the ULB from the dropdown list.

Note: All trade license renewal requests must be made thirty days before the date of their expiry.

How to Get a Birth Certificate in Indore Municipal Corporation?

It is valid proof that helps in your child’s identification during school admissions, voter id and ration card applications, etc. A birth certificate allows your child to avail of various government schemes. It is proof of your child’s age in the national population file and is a mandate document in some legal works like property registration and insurance.

  • Visit the respective revenue department.
  • Take an application form from the office and fill it with the required details.
  • As parents of the child, carry your address proof, Aadhar card, and the hospital discharge certificate.

  • Visit the office with the form receipt on the date given upon application submission and collect the birth certificate.

Note: Register your child within 21 days of birth as penalties are charged if registered beyond this time frame. You may also have to provide certain additional documents if your newborn baby is not registered on time. Inform the concerned local authorities in case of home birth.  

How to Get a Death Certificate in Indore Municipal Corporation?

A death certificate is important for various legal, banking, and real estate work like claiming insurance, selling property, settling wills, closing bank accounts, etc., and so forth.

Following are the steps to Acquire a Death Certificate in IMC:

  • After registering the death, visit the respective department.
  • Apply for the death certificate, OR
  • Go to the official portal of IMC and choose the Directory option.
  • Open the Menu bar and select Public Utilities to get the contact information.
  • Fill in the application form with the required details and submit it.
  • After the verification of documents and details, you can collect the certificate from the respective department.
  • You can also check the certificate status on the online portal or get the print of the same if required.
  • If you have registered the death orally, the registrar will fill in the details in the application form, and you will be asked to sign the form or give your thumb impression.
  • Collect the form receipt. It is required when you collect the death certificate from the crematorium or burial ground.

You can also apply for a death certificate online through e-Nagar Palika by choosing the Death Registration option given on the right side of the screen.

Note: Register the death of the deceased to the concerned authorities under a period of 21 days to death.

How to Get a Marriage Certificate in Indore Municipal Corporation?

  • Tap on Citizen Services and then go to Marriage Registration. It will direct you to the next page.
